Paper 60 — The Early Land-Life Era

Triassic opens at 251.9 million (not 150). Dinosaurs originate ~240 million years ago — and the revision adds the event the original nowhere records: at 66,000,000 years ago an impact ends the dinosaurs in a geological instant. No fade, no dwindling through a Cretaceous that runs to 50 million; the mammalian era opens on a cleared stage, which is the original's own narrative instinct with its missing cause restored. Angiosperms emerge ~130 million years ago; the original's 90 million is kept — reassigned to their rise to dominance, where it belongs.
